Beginning in our nursery classes and continuing through our fifth grade, we endeavor to use the stories of the Bible to allow our children to know a loving God who is faithful in His promises and His care for each of His children. This is the beginning of the development of each child's personal faith and relationship with their God who loves them.

 

Nursery

Teaching the very young in a secure environment

Built in 2003, our nursery facility features beautifully painted Bible stories on the walls and a secure check-in area for parents to drop off & pick up their young ones. Parents are asked to inform the nursery staff which class they will be attending, and they are provided with a beeper in case nursery personnel need to contact them.

The purpose of the nursery Bible classes is to provide Bible-based teaching for babies from three months through two years of age. Nursery There are three stages of repetitive teaching about creation utilizing flip-charts, songs, stuffed animals, and many other objects. The youngest stage teaches creation to babies three months through a year old where they learn about how God made the world with the sun for day and the moon for night. The next stage is for toddlers, one year through eighteen months, who are taught about creation with hands-on participation utilizing toy animals and representations of the sun, moon, & stars. The final stage teaches toddlers eighteen months through two years old and expands on creation using more detail and asks for more participation from the child. When children graduate at 2 years, they have made friends and know the story of creation.

If you would like to teach or assist in the nursery or help out in any way, please contact Joyce Budurin. A background check is required by law to work with our children. Providing a safe learning experience is our top priority.

Worship nursery is for those under the age of 2.

In the 1st-5th grades, our goal is to help each child build a foundation for life that is based on Scripture, fostered by love, and encouraged by example.

Our desire is for each child to see how the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit worked in the past and how they are active in our lives today.We pray that this will help each child develop a faith of his/her own.
